A non-commercial station devoted to alternative viewpoints. For almost 50 years, it has been speaking truth to power, supported entirely by its listeners. But with a tough economy and an expensive lease, the station finds itself begging for support in the midst of its month-long May fund drive.

After a few years of work in different jobs in Russia Sergey decided to seek opportunities elsewhere and moved to Istanbul. There, he had his first commercial successes. We lost track where these paintings are now.

I recently finished a PhD in Computer Science at UC Berkeley, advised by Trevor Darrell. I now work at Gradescope. Which allows paper-based assignments to be assessed online, enabling data-driven feedback to both students and instructors. Image style is integral to visual communication, but has received scant research attention. We gather datasets of photo and painting style, and evaluate convolutional neural nets for the task.
